Why Choose Polyphenol-Rich Cocoa?

Why Choose Polyphenol-Rich Cocoa?
- Each tablespoon of Santa Barbara Chocolate high polyphenol cocoa powder delivers up to 307mg of total cocoa polyphenols.
- So what even are polyphenols?….Polyphenols are naturally occurring micronutrients found in plants that act as potent antioxidants. They provide extensive benefits, including combating systemic inflammation, lowering cardiovascular disease risk, promoting healthy blood sugar management, and protecting cognitive function. But as mentioned, most chocolate and cocoa powder does not contain enough or not any at all to get any benefits from it. Many cocoa powders out there are alkalized, meaning the cocoa powder has been dutch processed removing all the benefits.
- Santa Barbara Chocolate Polyphenol Rich Cocoa Powder is Non-Alkalized – Never Dutch-processed to ensure polyphenols in cocoa, flavor complexity, and vibrant cocoa color remain intact. – you can literally SEE the difference in the deep color and taste it too! It’s like night and day and I won’t go back to the typical cocoa powder that’s sold in 99% of today’s market.
- This stuff is 100% cocoa, free from sugar, soy, and additives.
You can add this to smoothie, brownies, cookies, cakes, your morning coffee, or even make your own high polyphenol cup of hot chocolate by mixing this powder with warm milk of choice and a dash of maple syrup – that’s it! And it’s so much better than any pre-made hot chocolate drink mix you can find at the store.
