…and no oven or baking required!
You know the “baked oats” craze that’s been happening on TikTok? Well, I give you…..unbaked oat cake. The texture is almost like fudge, but also kinda sponge-y (am I making any sense here?). You’ll have to try it for yourself to truly get an idea!
Healthy enough for breakfast yet decadent enough for dessert!
Ingredients:
3 cups boiling water
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup unsweetened chocolate (code: lilsipper) or sweetened if preferred
Method:
Once water has boiled, remove from stove top and add oats. Stir for a few minutes. Next add chocolate and continue stirring until well mixed batter has thickened. Line a small dish with or cake tin (you an also use cupcake tins) with parchment or wax paper and and pour in mixture. Refrigerate a few hours or overnight until firm. Once firm, remove from dish/tin and enjoy! I dusted cacao powder on top but this is totally optional.
