2-ish Ingredient Brownies!

Does baking soda count as an ingredient? If not, “2-INGREDIENT BROWNIES ” is an accurate term for these bad boys. I’ve been snacking on them in my Instagram stories, layering them in my smoothies (ice cream sandwich smoothie!), and just savoring every bit while I work on a few projects….but they’re finally here!

I used that chocolate Sunbutter I posted on my Instagram HERE a few days ago as the main ingredient. Made with Vital Proteins Dark Chocolate Blackberry Collagen Peptides (literally one of my favorites!). It not only contains gut healing collagen and protein, but also Bacillus Coagulans (a specific type of probiotic strong enough to combat candida and yeast overgrowth!). Read about it HERE in an older post I did.

Because I used Sunbutter, they turned green (just like my GREEN BREAD). I thought that perhaps the cacao powder would cover the green-ness, but nope! The green shined through! Haha. But don’t let the color fool you!

Chocolate Sunbutter:
2 scoops Vital Proteins Dark Chocolate Blackberry Collagen (contains probiotics and collagen protein for gut health)
2 Tbsp unsweetened cacao powder
1 1/4 cup organic Sunbutter
*Blend everything together.

Brownie Ingredients:
3 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup chocolate Sunbutter (recipe above)
*4 Tbsp honey/maple syrup (optional)

Directions:
1. Whisk eggs and baking soda w/ electric mixer until peaks form, then add your chocolate Sunbutter and mix again.

2. If adding sweetener do it now (but I didn’t)

3. Transfer / spread batter into an 8×8 pan lined with parchment paper (batter will be super sticky) and bake for 13-14 min. @ 350 F.

4. Best if you freeze to cool, slice, then drizzle melted Thera Treats Organic 100% CBD Bar (15% off: lilsipper) on top of chilled brownies. They will turn green from the chlorophyll in sunflower seeds.
