2 Minute Cheese Puffs
It’s confirmed that Cheetos uses bioengineered ingredients ini their products.
It’s right on their website.
But if that wasn’t enough…..take a look at their ingredients.
Ingredients in Cheetos Puffs:
Enriched corn meal (corn meal, ferrous sulfate, niacin, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), vegetable oil (corn, canola, and/or sunflower oil), whey, cheddar cheese (milk, cheese cultures, salt, enzymes), salt, corn maltodextrin, natural and artificial flavors, whey protein concentrate, monosodium glutamate (MSG), lactic acid, citric acid, and artificial color (yellow 6).
*If something states “enriched” that means synthetic forms of vitamins were added.
“The results of this study show that ferrous sulfate can be made from scrap iron waste through leaching in 20% sulfuric acid.”
In this study, they state that the end result of the ferrous sulfate product had a purity of 99.01% and that no lead was found. However, I have a hard time believing this personally and history shows time and time again that they come to find out YEARS LATER the research was wrong. I’m not saying they’re wrong (I don’t know) but I do know that everything I have ever preached upon, researched, and been skeptical of has come true.

Ok, back to the Cheetos! LOL
My version only contains a few simple, all organic, ingredients that you know and can understand.
- Organic rice puffs
- Organic cheese powder
- Organic EVOO
I always use Kasandrinos Organic EVOO (25% offcode: LS25) so I know I am using REAL olive oil instead of the pre-packaged spray bottles.
NO flavorings
NO vegetable oils
NO corn
NO maltodextrin
NO msg
NO folic acid
NO ferrous sulfate
NO artificial colors
NO bio-engineered ingredients
Recipe
Ingredients:
– 1 bag of pure organic rice puffs
– organic cheddar cheese powder (makes sure there’s no gums, flavorings, or fillers like this one)
– Olive oil spray

Kasandrinos organic evoo is the best I have ever tasted and gives that “pepper-y kick” everyone talks about. That’s how you know it’s REAL olive oil and extremely high in polyphenols.
Method:
*After making these, I realized it’s easier to prepare them on a baking sheet and ziplock bag rather than a bowl.
Spread out the rice puffs on a large baking sheet then spritz the puffs evenly with olive oil, then transfer the puffs into a large ziplock bag and add desired amount of cheese powder. Seal the bag and give it a good shake until the cheese powder has coated the puffs to your preference. Enjoy!
