Did you know you can make your own protein bar with less ingredients, less money, and in less time than it would take to drive to the grocery store and get one? Not to mention the macros on my homemade version far outweigh the macros in a Perfect Bar (just see below!)

Makes 4 XL Bars

Ingredients:
– 1 cups of Bethany’s Pantry Vanilla DSP
– 1 cups of thick greek yogurt or skyr
– 1 cups of Bethany’s Pantry Vanilla DSP
– 1 cups of thick greek yogurt or skyr
– 1/4 cup of water
*optional: mini chocolate chips to taste (to add on top)
Method:
First mix my Digestive Support Protein and greek yogurt in a large bowl until it becomes very crumbly. Then add 1/4 cup of water and continue to mix (if it’s still too dry, add 1 Tbsp more of water and continue mixing – don’t add too much water or it will become loose. If this happens, just add more DSP). Using clean hands, knead the dough into one large ball. Place a sheet of parchment paper and form dough into a large rectangle. Add chocolate chips on top (if using) then cut into 4 equal parts or desired shape, then store each in the refrigerator with a sheet of parchment paper between each one or inside a ziplock-type bag. You can also freeze them as they thaw quite fast.
