4 Savory Meals (that are actually easy!)

In a savory slump? Need some dinner inspo? Tired of the same thing?

I got you! Here are 4 savory meal ideas that won’t break the bank and take hardly any effort yet still still deliver the flavor and please everyone at the dinner table!

PALEO SPINACH RICE
(grain free, paleo, keto and SIBO friendly)

Ingredients:
1, 16 oz package of Trader Joe’s fresh cauliflower rice (in the refrigerated section)
1/2 cup bone broth (or veggie broth)
3 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
3 Tbsp tomato paste (I used this one with no additives)
Clean taco seasoning to taste (I used this brand)
1 scoop of Further Food’s gelatin (code: lilsipper)

Optional Add-Ins:
Chopped onions
Black olives
Peppers

Method:
1. Cook cauliflower rice in a large pot with all ingredients until cauliflower is soft and tender, then evenly sprinkle Further Food’s gelatin (15% off: lilsipper) into pot and stir until dissolved.

Finish off with a squeeze of lime and cilantro.
*The texture should get “sticky” as the cauli-rice cools. As it warms, the texture will loosen.

GNOCCHI NACHOS

This savory recipe is foolproof! Made in minutes and guaranteed to please even the pickiest eaters! It’s also kid friendly to make so include those littles ones and have them help you! Bonding time!

Recipe:
️Make my 2 ingredient cauli-gnocchi, pan fry then bake until golden. After, add 2 grass-fed meat sticks for protein, grate goat cheese (optional) and broil for 1 min. Remove from oven and top with your heart’s desire!
️Here I added: diced mango to mimic corn for easy digestion, cilantro, tomatoes, olives, greek yogurt, sliced radishes and lime. Y-U-M.

TACO PASTA SKILLET

When two cuisines collide….magic happens! When half your family wants Italian and the other half is craving Mexican; problem solved! This is one of the easiest one pot meal that’s sure to satisfy everyone!

Ingredients:
2 cups Explore Cuisine’s Chickpea Pasta (no gums! yay!)
1-2 cups pre-cooked (shredded) chicken (or ground turkey/beef or vegan alt.)
1 1/2 cups organic tomato sauce
2 cups bone broth (I prefer Bonafide Provisions)
2 Tbsp natural taco seasoning
1 large fresh tomato, diced
1/2 cup diced onion
Fresh cut corn from 1 ear
1/4 cup sliced black olives
Cilantro to garnish (optional)

Method:
Soak chickpea pasta in water a few hours (or you can cook them) and set aside. In a large pot, add remaining ingredients and stir over medium heat until it begins to boil. Reduce heat and let simmer for flavors to “mingle”. The last few minutes of cooking, add pasta and cook just until pasta is warm and serve. It’s also delicious cold!

JALAPENO CHEESE BREAD

One of my favorite ways to make an easy-to-digest “bread”. Just throw together 6 simple ingredients and BAM – You can even make mini versions in muffin tins!

Ingredients:
1 tsp baking soda
4 egg whites
1/2 cup cultured cottage cheese
1 cup blanched almond flour
2 scoops of Further Food collagen (code: lilsipper)
1-2 fresh jalapenos, thinly sliced
1-2 grass fed meat sticks (optional), sliced

Method:
Whisk baking soda and egg whites until peaks form, then gently mix in cottage cheese, almond flour, and collagen. Fold in sliced jalapenos and chopped meat stick (if using), place on a lined baking sheet or cak pan and bake @ 350 F for about 35 minutes.
