I used to love all things chowder….clam, corn, you name it! I ate the canned stuff all the time (year back when I never checked in gredients and only focused on the nutrition label). But have you ever realized how much added junk there is in what you would think would be so simple! Let’s just take a look at some brands….

Well step aside all packaged soups, this CREAMY (dairy free) CHOWDER is making waves (literally) and it’s giving me all the feels in this cold weather! Just 5 simple, gut healing ingredients is all you need to make the magic happen in under 30 minutes. I think you got 30 minutes, right?
Ingredients:
1 head of cauliflower
2 Tbsp ghee
2 cups Bare Bones Broth (any flavor) 10% off: lilsipper10
1-2 garlic cloves
1 can wild pink salmon (optional)
Toppings:
1-2 Chomps sticks (flavor of choice) – they are 100% pork free, grass-fed, and use a collagen casing!
Instructions:
1. Steam cauliflower until tender then transfer to a high speed blender (don’t add water) and pureed with ghee, garlic, and bone broth until smooth. After blending, option to add salmon or any other seafood (clams, shrimp, etc.) or leave as is.
2. Cut up Chomps into small pieces and air-fry for 4 minutes @ 400 F. Top your soup for that savory, “bacon-y” crunch and enjoy! I also dipped some of my Erewhon Paleo Bread I had stored in my freezer (perfect addition!) and finished with a little hemp seed oil (20% off: lilsipper) @lilsipper
