Have you ever looked at the ingredient list on those “protein cookies” sold at every gym and “health” food store? If you know me by now you know I’m all about ingredients > nutrition facts and I just couldn’t help but point out the ones used in the Lenny & Larry Chocolate Chip “Protein” Cookie. It makes me sad and sick (literally) to know that people are actually putting this into their body…and thinking it’s good for them……

Oh, and the list below is actually on their website with a non-GMO verification! Honestly, non-GMO doesn’t mean anything.

WOW! That’s all I can say…my version below only contains 5 simple, easily digest REAL ingredients!
And it contains MORE protein and LESS sugar.
Not to mention this version is:
• Paleo
• Vegan friendly
• Keto friendly
• Candida diet friendly
and takes just seconds to make!
Ingredients:
2 scoops of my Probiotic Vanilla Protein Powder
1 Tbsp cashew butter
1/2 Tbsp coconut oil, melted
1/2 Tbsp *raw honey (see note below)
3-4 Tbsp water
100% pure chocolate chips to taste, I prefer Santa Barbara Chocolate’s 1 ingredient no sugar organic chips (15% off: lilsipper15)
Notes:
*Vegans use maple syrup.
*Candida / keto diets omit. You may need to add 1 Tbsp of additional water if cookie seems too “dry”
Directions:
1. Mix Nuzest, cashew butter, coconut oil, and honey if using with 3 Tbsp water. Add desired amount of chocolate chips and press dough into one large ball with hands. If dough is not sticking together, add 1 more Tbsp of water.
2. Form dough into one large cookie or small cookies balls. If you place in the freezer for 5 minutes it tend to harden a bit and I think it tastes better chilled!
