AVOCADO FREE GUACAMOLE with a secret superfood ingredient by Organic Girl! Did you know?….Some people are allergic or intolerant to avocados (I used to be one of them and still have to eat them sparingly). Yup! Some get rashes and others get super nauseated (like me, but I am getting better as I slowly introduce them back into my diet). However, this dip is one to please even the avocado lover in your life! The flavors are banin’!
So if you have an avo allergy, need to cut your fat intake, or want to sneak in some veggies in a picky eaters diet….DO IT!
1 1/2 cup frozen peas
1 cup frozen brussel sprouts (about 12)
1 cup Organic Girl’s SuperGreens Mix (firmly packed)
2 raw garlic cloves, minced
1/4 white onion, chopped
Juice from 1 lime
1/2 Tbsp cumin powder
1-2 tsp pink Himalayan salt
1/2 cup chopped cilantro
1/2 cup greek yogurt (vegan/paleo option sub with 1/4 cup tahini)
1. Lightly steam peas and brussels.
2. Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until very smooth. Add an avocado if desired. Refrigerate until cold and serve.
