If bananas aren’t your thing, or perhaps you want to venture out and expand your diet with different produce, this BANANA-LESS Vegan Vanilla Smoothie must be made! It’s practically ice cream….but for a meal! I mean, who can say they eat ice cream for lunch and dinner? Well I can! LOL
If you’re unsure how to smoothie prep, see my Smoothie Prep Blog Post for methods and ways I do it for an easy week of smoothies.
Smoothies as a meal do more than just taste good and satisfy a sweet tooth, they are actually beneficial for digestion and give your gut a “break” in breaking down food. By consuming blended food, your body has to work less to break it down, making it less stressful on your body and also helping it to absorb more nutrients from the food!
STRESSED?
If you’re chronically stressed, smoothies are also a great option because when you’re stressed your digestive system shuts down, making anything you eat feel uncomfortable and often leaving you feeling bloated after a meal.
Needless to say, when in doubt, blend it out!
