Call me crazy, but these date infused bone broth Broccoli Poppers are poppin’ yo. The sweetness of the dates soaked in Bare Bones Broth is like ying/yang….the best balance of flavors! Crunchy, tasty, and healthy with added gut health benefits of the bone broth (and protein!). Needless to say I should have made 3 more batches cuz they were gone REAL quick!
4 Medjool dates
1/2 cup Bare Bones Broth (discount: lilsipper10)
1 Tbsp Organic Sunbutter
1/2 tsp sea salt
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp onion or garlic powder
Broccoli florets (no exact measurements)
1. Soak dates in Bare Bones overnight in fridge.
2. Next day, puree dates (with any extra of the broth that wasn’t absorbed from the dates) with Sunbutter and spices until smooth.
3. Wash broccoli and pat dry with a paper towel. Make sure they’re completely dry (very important).
4. Toss broccoli florets in a bowl with puree to coat.
Cooking times will vary depending on how big/small your floretts are.
AIR FRYER: 12 minutes at 400 F
OVEN: bake 30-40 minutes or until crunchy at 400 F.
