Chocolate Chip Lavash Roll Up

Chocolate Chip Lavash Roll Up

This reminds me of a cannoli and a croissant even though it’s neither….but if you love both then I think you’ll love this lazy snack with a crispy, crunchy, and flakey outside with a gooey chocolate-y inside!

You can do this with whatever wrap you want, HOWEVER, a very very thin lavash will work best for that light, flake-y, crunchy result. Maros will of course depend on the ingredients you use.
The 40 cal lavash wraps I used are yeast free, oil free, and made with just 4 simple ingredients.
The 100% no sugar chocolate I used is just one single ingredient and is from the criollo cacao – this type of cacao has been shown to help fight off candida.

Recipe

Ingredients:
– 1 Asal Banoo lavash wrap (I get mine from a local middle eastern market in my town but you can also order them from HERE)
– 30 pure 100% unsweetened mini criollo chocolate wafers (20% off: LILSIPPER)
Method:
1. Place the chocolate wafers onto 1/2 of the lavash evenly, then roll it up starting from the side with the chocolate.
2. Place the rolled lavash in your air fryer / toaster oven with the open flap facing downward to secure it.
3. Air fry / toast at 450 F until you see the lavash begin to brown and the chocolate has melted. Watch carefully as each air fryer / toaster oven will be different.
4. Allow to cool before enjoying. *Cooling also helps with lavash crisp up even more for a light, crunchy result!
