Coffee Jelly with Colostrum Foam

Some may argue this is a Japanese treat, others may say it originated in Britain, but I will argue it’s straight up delish no matter where it originated from…..and now, everyone round the world can enjoy coffee jelly! Traditionally it uses cream instead of foam made from colostrum (that’s where my own twist comes in!).
My version is lighter, contains ZERO sugar, and contains extra benefits from the colostrum without the heaviness of cream.

COFFEE
Coffee contains powerful antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds that can help your skin, BUT it all depends on the type of coffee. The effects of coffee for wrinkles span from temporary cosmetic fixes to long-term cellular benefits, but again, if you are consuming non-organic, moldy coffee (what the majority of coffee is – even organic can contain mycotoxins) you will be doing more harm than good.
That’s why I always recommend Equip Foods organic, mold-free regenerative coffee.

Both are great!

Recipe
Serves 1
Coffee Ingredients:
– 1 1/2 cup of brewed coffee (be sure it’s mold-free, organic, and preferably regenerative like Equip Foods to get the health benefits of coffee)
– 1 Tbsp of grass-fed beef gelatin (be sure it’s NOT from pork such as Knox gelatin)
*option to add a sweetener of choice to your coffee (but I didn’t)
Colostrum Foam Ingredients:
– 2 scoops of Equip Foods grass-fed colostrum (20% off code: lilsipper20)
– 1/3 cup of water
Method:
Add your brewed coffee (nust still be hot) to a heat safe cup or bowl, and gradually sprinkle in your gelatin while stirring the coffee so no clips form. Make sure the coffee is hot. If using sweetener, add that in now. Pour the coffee mixture into a heat safe mug and place in the fridge overnight to firm. The next day, remove the mug from the refrigerator and set aside while you prepare your colostrum foam.
For the foam, add Equip Foods grass-fed colostrum into a tall cup with the water. Using a hand-held milk frother, whip the colostrum moving your hand up and down repetitively until the foam triples in size and you achieve your desired texture and fluffiness.
Pour the foam over the gelatinized coffee then break up the coffee jelly with a spoon to mix in the foam and enjoy!
