Coffee Milk Jelly

Coffee Milk Jelly

COFFEE MILK JELLY is nothing new over here. In fact, I’ve been making versions of this since 2017! But why not bring it back in an easy, microwavable style. I don’t use the microwave much, however I do still use it sometimes for little things like this! You can easily make this on the stovetop which I have also done. Either way, you gotta try!

Recipe

Ingredients:
– 3 1/2 cups of milk of choice (dairy or non-dairy)
– 2 Tbsp of grass-fed beef gelatin
*I reccomend adding a granulated sweetener of choice (but I didn’t) for those that are not used to my type of no sugar cooking and lifestyle.
Microwave Method:
Add milk to a large glass container (microwave safe) and gradually add in your gelatin. Immediately stir with a whisk to avoid clumping. Next, sprinkle in your instant coffee (and sweetener if using) and continue whisking. Place the container in the microwave for about 2 minutes. Check on 1 minute in (everyone’s microwave will be different) and if it’s not hot, continue for another minute. It should be warm but not scolding hot. Mix the liquid one more time, then skim off the bubbles on top best you can. Secure the lid on top of the container and place in the fridge overnight. The next day it should be firm, jiggly, and ready to slice and enjoy!
Stovetop Method:
Add milk, gelatin, and instant coffee (and sweetener if using) to a large pot over low heat. Continue stirring until the gelatin has dissolved and no clumps are present. Once heated through and everything is mixed well, carefully pour the mixture into a glass container and remove any bubbles on the top. Secure the lid on top of the container and place in the fridge overnight. The next day it should be firm, jiggly, and ready to slice and enjoy!
