I made flippin’ HEMP SEED BUTTER in my Instagram stories today (I hope you saw it!) Not only does it taste delicious and saves you money, but the amazing health benefits of hemp may surprise you and you’d be all about it after reading (and making) this!
1. Grind desired amount of hemp seeds in a blender (I used my Blendtec Twister Jar) until smooth. Done!
*I store my in a mason jar for up to 2 week in the fridge.
Hemp seeds have been known to produce immunosuppressive effects and
reduce inflammation in the body which is the core of many (if not
most) diseases like IBS, Crohns, and arthritis.
The oils present in hemp seed is able to penetrate the innermost
layers of the skin in order to promote the growth of more skin cells,
alleviating dryness and leading to smoother, healthier skin. Studies
have also shown that the oil has been helpful for people with eczema!
Gamma-linolenic acid, found in hemp, produces a hormone that can
reduce the symptomatic effects of prolactin, which is notoriously
known as PMS.
Stress / Anxiety:
Hemp is high in magnesium which works to support neurotransmitter
function in the brain in order to reduce stress and anxiety. Peace out
