Jicima Health Benefits (great for your gut!)

What is it?
A root vegetable similar in texture to a turnip with a taste closer to an apple. Can be eaten raw or cooked (just not the skin as it’s inedible).

Health Benefits:
Jicama contains a special type of fiber infused with oligofructose inulin, which has zero calories and doesn’t metabolize in the body. Inulin is a prebiotic which promotes good bacteria growth in the gut!

It’s also paleo friendly, and fit into any lifestyle!…I’m always making smoothies or even fries with this magical root in my Instagram stories!
