Lab Grown (cultivated) Chocolate
(what you need to know)
Mondelēz International is targeting a commercial release of lab grown (cultivated) chocolate is projected between late 2026 and 2027

Besides Mondelez, other brands investing in lab grown chocolate are:
- Nestle (KitKat)
- Lindt
- Mars (Snickers / M&M’s)
- Kinder
The above brands are also investing millions into lab-grown and cell-cultured cocoa due crop shortages and record high ingredient costs (so theey say).
