RICE PAPER TACOS!
This rice paper taco fusion may stir up some controversy, but what else is new on my Instagram page? LOL
I’m part Asian and part Mexican, so I love making Mexicasian food! And if you’ve got leftover rice paper you bought 2+ years ago and still wondering what to do with it, I got you! Try these gluten and corn free taco shells flash fried in beef tallow! Fill them with taco meat, an Asian inspired salad, cole slaw, or season and snack on them as a fun giant chip!
Recipe
Ingredients:
– Rice paper
– Beef tallow (for frying) – I use THIS BRAND (25% off code: LILSIPPER)
– Ground beef, chicken, turkey, or chorizo (I like this turkey chorizo), cooked
– Diced bell peppers, onions, and cilantro to taste
– Organic taco seasoning (only if not using chorizo)
– Avocado, sliced
Method:
In a shallow pan, heat up a little beef tallow until you start to see small bubbles. VERY carefully, insert one rice paper at a time for only 2 seconds and remove quikly. Set aside and repeat with as many rice papers as you want. Fill with desired taco fillings and enjoy emmediately.
