Papaya: One of the best fruits for digestion!
Papayas are commonly used to aid digestion. The papain enzyme found in papaya helps digest proteins and also cleanses the digestive tract. This ensures a reduced conversion of protein into body fat. If the protein in our diet is not digested properly, it may cause arthritis, constipation, diabetes, high blood pressure and other related health conditions. Crazy how digestion effects all areas of our bodies!
It’s also a natural remedy for constipation and other symptoms from severe digestive disorders.
PAPAYA SEEDS BENEFITS (yes, you can eat them too!)
Parasites:
It’s pretty well known by now that papaya seeds can help expel parasites because they contain an alkaloid โCarpaine” that kills intestinal worms and ameba parasites. (source)

One study found that papaya seed extract helped prevent kidney damage. Since papaya seeds are rich in certain antioxidants that block oxidative damage to your cells and protect kidney health, they are something to keep in mind when thinking of your kidneys.

Below are 2 versions you MUST try and both make my tummy and taste buds happy!
SMOOTHIE # 1

Vegan / Paleo Smoothie
Ingredients:
1 cup frozen papaya
1 cup frozen cauliflower (pre-steamed)
1 room temperature banana
3 ice cubes
2 scoops of my Nuzest USA Digestive Support Vanilla protein
Splash of non-dairy milk
Unsweetened cacao powder

Directions:
1. Blend everything (except cacao powder) in a blender. *If its too thick, add a splash of milk and blend until smooth.
- Stir in desired amount of cacao powder and top with a Evo Hemp Bar (20% off: lilsipper)

Ingredients:
1 cup frozen papaya
1 cup frozen cauliflower (pre-steamed)
7 oz greek yogurt
