What Is Dry Yogurt?

Dry yogurt is essentially labneh, which is made by straining a good amount of the whey. This process results in a thick, smooth, and spreadable product similar to cream cheese or mascarpone, commonly used in Middle Eastern cuisines.

Recipe

Ingredients:
– 3/4 cup of greek yogurt
– 2 tsp of pitaya powder
– 1 scoop of Bethany’s Pantry Strawberry DSP (this helps it thicken up as this protein absorbs more liquid than the average protein powder)
– 3 Tbsp of unsweetened chocolate
Method:
In a bowl, mix yogurt, pitaya powder, and Bethany’s Pantry strawberry DSP. Place the mixture in 2-3 clean paper towels and form into a ball and place it in a bowl. Refrigerate overnight. The next day, remove the yogurt ball from the paper towel and form into desired shape. Melt chocolate and pour the chocolate over the dry yogurt and place in the refrigerator for about 1 minute or until the chocolate has hardened. Enjoy!
