In one study, participants suffering from insomnia drank either 16 ounces (480 ml) of tart cherry juice or the same amount of a placebo juice each day for two weeks. The cherry juice increased sleep time by an average of 85 minutes! I’ll take a double please! lol
CHECK THIS OUT! Tart cherry juice has shown (in this study HERE) to be just as, if not more, effective at reducing insomnia than valerian and melatonin — the two most studied natural products for insomnia!

Muscle Soreness
Yet another backed study HERE, long distance runners drank either 24 ounces (710 ml) of tart cherry juice or a placebo in the seven days leading up to their race. The runners who drank the cherry juice experienced 3X less pain during and after the race compared to the placebo group!
In a different study, runners given tart cherry juice a few days before and immediately after a marathon. They experienced less muscle damage, less soreness, and and less inflammation.
All this to say, God gave us all we need to help combat inflammation, recovery, and sleep. It’s up to us to utilize it and get back to our roots….or in this case, (cherry) tree! LOL
