Ketchup that’s tomato free?! For all those avoiding nightshades, have a tomato allergy, or just want a healthy twist to the universal used sugar loaded sauce then try my CARROT KETCHUP for all the summer BBQ’s (and every day after! lol) It’s flippn’ bomb!

Makes about 4 cups
Ingredients:
2 cups chopped carrots
1/2 cup chopped beets
1 cup chopped apple (gala, honeycrisp, or any sweet type)
1/4 – 1/2 cup chopped white onion
4 Medjool dates
1/2 cup Bare Bones Broth (code: lilsipper10) *vegans use water
1/2 cup Fire Cider (code: lilsipper)
2-3 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp sea salt
*Option to add cayenne powder to kick up the heat but if using Fire Cider then it give all the flavzzzzz!
Directions:
1. Steam carrots & beets until soft (about 5-10 minutes)
2. Add carrots, beets, apples, onions, and dates to a high speed blender (I used my Vitamix) and blend until well mixed.
3. Add in remaining ingredients and blend again until smooth.
4. Transfer to a container and refrigerate to chill before serving.
