Hey! You made it to week TWO! Crazy how times flies, right?!

Now some may already be feeling better (but that doesn’t mean to stop!) and some may actually feel a bit uncomfortable due to the “refeeding” process that comes with digestion.

FOR THOSE FEELING GREAT
Please continue! I personally have been there thinking “yay! I feel great! So back to eating and doing the things I once was….a little bit of “X” won’t hurt me” – then a day later I am laying in bed again in pain and in the bathroom all day.
I am so happy if you are in this category! But remember to keep pushing and imagine how amazing you’ll feel once the 3 weeks is over!

FOR THOSE STILL FEELING UNCOMFORTABLE
I’ve been there too! I was doing everything to the T, no going off “the plan” yet I was still feeling bloated and “stuffed”. This is your body adjusting to food! You have been miserable for so long, perhaps even on medication, just “getting by”, and now you are doing something totally new!
This feeling will pass.
Think of your body as a baby. At first, the baby’s stomach looks bloated, right? They have never eaten food and have only been drinking milk / formula up until now. So it take a while for the body to adjust. If you are feeling full, cut back a bit and break up your portions even more. Instead of eating an entire serving of pureed chicken at once, take 1 Tbsp in your mouth, eat it, walk away, then go back in another 30 minutes for another Tbsp. Repeat every 30 minutes. By the end of the day, you’ll have consume more than you realize without pain. I had to do this at first then you get used to it. You know your body best.
The key here, is to not get discouraged and keep going! Because it’s only temporary! YAY!
